Something to celebrate in this time and age. T71 joined the cyber-age ten years ago and has not been looking back since. On 3rd March 2000 we decided to offer our supporters a platform to keep informed and to take part in the life of the club. At the time this was a novel business but the club saw the potential and decided to invest into the new technology. Was it worth it? Well, if our visitors' count is anything to go by it certainly was. The counter has been ticking happily to a present grand total of 105.000 visitors, still running. Number crunchers will tell you that this works out at rate of 28 visitors a day, which to our reckoning is a good figure, considering that we are talking about a pretty local phenomenon. Since success doesn’t come from day one, we are now talking about 77 visitors a day over the last three-year period. This ruins our statistics for the first years, but what the heck!
The Web isn't about local issues is it? The web-site offers quite a few features, links and all, so that the platform is used quite a lot to access other sites, hence our success. Depending on the season we really have peaks, the best day so far was 03.05.2007 when we had 645 visitors, these peaks often coincide with the successes of the club, which is not all surprising, who wouldn't want to know where the inspiration comes from. Why people from about 100 countries want to learn more is nevertheless intriguing, but that's the Web to you. T71 website, accessed from Guatemala, Oman and Sri Lanka, can this be a coincidence? Bluffing? Certainly not! Just click on the globe at the bottom of our main page to check the tracker. And don't be fooled by the total, you can trust us; we had to change the versions of the tracker program over the years. Still not convinced? The old trusty counter in the first window of the top window has been with us from the start: Numbers match.
So, the site is going strong, and with the proper kind of input it will continue serving us in the years to come. We like to share our success story with others, the club is going strong and results are there to prove it. The web site is a useful addition, nationally and on the international stage. We are not shy of saying so; communication is essential in our business, too.
