Background:

Jordan played college at University of Wisconsin in the Big Ten, one of the best Conferences in the NCAA Division 1 (USA).  She had a very successful sophomore year, receiving MVP at Thanksgiving Tournament and starting most games. After that season Wisconsin had a coaching change. The new coach played a guard-system. The situation gradually improved her senior year, and she ended on a high note at the Big Ten Tourney, finishing her career as leading scorer.  Jordan was selected three times to Academic All-Big Ten Team and as Street & Smith's Honorable Mention All-American. She was also Voted Team Most Improved Player and MVP of Sonesta Miami Tournament.

After her College-career Jordan played two seasons with BC Ibaizabal in Bilbao (Spain).  Jordan made sure the team promoted to Division one in Spain.
The coach wrote about her:
“ Jordan has been the MVP of our team reaching wonderful figures and being the best player of the league and playoffs. During her time in Bilbao she was an excellent person. Friendly, kind and generous. She never missed a practice and she is a very hard  worker. We have been very pleased with her. She has very good moves inside the zone mainly by the left side where she has made a lot of points. She has a very good shot in the middle distance with excellent percentages. She likes playing hard capturing many rebounds receives fouls to shoot at the line and makes her moves very speedy. Jordan is an unselfish team player who is extremely coachable.  She has also good leadership skills. Jordan integrated very quickly with the group learning Spanish and she showed that she was very clever understanding soon the tactics variations ".

After this season Jordan signed a contract with UBBC APO Herzogenburg, one of the top-teams in Austria. Jordan was the leading scorer in this team with 16.1 points average and leading rebounder with more than 10 rebounds.
