18/05/2019 - 15:05

T71 is proud to confirm the arrival of their new head coach Ken Diederich for the upcoming season!

Ken started his playing career at T71 and played for our men team in 1993 under coach Gabriel Ercolani, before joining AB Contern where he won 4 titles (3 championships & 1 cup title). He ended his playing career with Basket Esch before becoming Amicale's head coach in 2012. His very successful stint with Amicale ended 6 years & 6 trophies later (3 championships & 3 cup titles). In between, in January 2016, he became head coach of Team Luxembourg where he celebrated a very rare victory against Great Britain (82-75).

Ken Diederich: "After one season of only National Team duties, I feel very motivated to coach a big club like T71. Presented with the opportunity to coach my hometown team, I could not say "no" and I believe that with a lot of work and patience, we will achieve many great things together and play a fun uptempo style of basketball that all of the fans will enjoy ?"

Ken will remain Team Luxembourg's head Coach. At T71, he will be assisted by Tommy Wagner and Jeff Wampach.

Eric Jeitz will be the only player to leave our men's team as he retires from playing basketball. We wish him all the best for his future! GĂ©raldine Reitz will stay at T71 as our physiotherapist.

Kevin Moura will join T71 from Residence Walferdange. Welcome Kevin in the Golden City!

Regarding the US players, no announcements can be made at this moment.
